On January 3, 2019, the 2018 World Zheshang Shanghai Forum and the 10th member representative conference of the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, hosted by the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce and the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai, was held at the Shanghai International Convention Center.

The Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai was established in 1986. After 32 years of development, it has been accompanied by the deepening of reform and opening up, along with the social organization that has grown in the Shanghai-Zhejiang business community. It has also been a participant in and witness to China's reform and opening up.

Zheng Gangmiao, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee, Weng Zuliang, member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee, and secretary of the Pudong New Area Party Committee, Xiong Jianping, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, attended and made speeches. Nearly 2,000 guests attended the conference, including Chen Weijun, deputy governor of Zhejiang Province and secretary of the Wenzhou Municipal Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Shanghai Municipal CPPCC, Chairman of the Municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce Wang Zhixiong, deputy secretary of Ningbo Municipal Committee, Mayor Qiu Dongyao and other officials of Shanghai and Zhejiang, officials of various consulates in Shanghai, presidents of Zhejiang Chambers of Commerce worldwide, presidents of the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce in China; representatives from the media industry and guests from different fields such as financial, legal, medical, education, as well as the Shanghai Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce and its members.

The 10th session of the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai was elected by the General Assembly. Wang Junjin, Chairman of June Yao Group, was elected as the new president.

The conference awarded the “Most Dedication Award” to the Executive Vice President of the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and the Chairman of Shanghai Jiuhe Ship Import & Export Co., Ltd.
